WAVES Workshops

We organize workshops to train users to WAVES.
These trainings are intended for bioinformaticians interested in installing and using WAVES.

09:30 - 10:00 : Introduction to WAVES
10:00 - 10:30 : Testing a pre-configured WAVES instance
10:30 - 11:00 : Break
11:00 - 12:00 : WAVES installation & configuration
12:00 - 13:30 : Lunch
13:30 - 14:00 : Interfacing WAVES with Galaxy
14:00 - 15:30 : WAVES REST API & remote tool integration
15:30 - 16:00 : Integrating WAVES web form into remote web server with PHP

Prerequisites

For the smooth running of the training, you will need:

A computer under Linux system with a sudoer acount
An internet access
A recent web browser
A 'ssh' access on a computing cluster with a user account able to run a job
Some applications:
- git
- virtualenv
- Python 2.7
- pip
- Singularity
An account on a Galaxy instance remotely available
