ATGC bioinformatics platform
ATGC is a bioinformatics platform developed by the MAB team and hosted by the LIRMM in Montpellier, France. It provides direct access to a wide range of software tools developed by the team, from cutting-edge phylogenetic tree building techniques to advanced algorithms for assembling and analysing complete genome data.
User-friendly graphical interfaces to many of these tools are proposed on this platform, enabling researchers to explore their own data. The ISDM-MESO centre, hosted by the University of Montpellier, provides large computing resources enabling fast, safe and efficient analysis.
The ATGC platform is funded by the CNRS through the IFB and the University of Montpellier.

ATGC, a bioinformatic platform for research
The bioinformatic platform provides different kind of services :
Software : available for online analysis or for download.
Datasets : available as online searchable databases or downloadable datasets.
Support : for our services but also for projects essentially dedicated to NGS analysis.
These services are based on our expertise, issued from our research activities. These involve phylogenetics, molecular evolution, genome dynamics, comparative and functional genomics and transcriptome analysis.
Most of the software and data are (co)authored by researchers from involved labs.
ATGC Platform is financed through Projets d’Investissement d’Avenir (French Government Research and Education long-term investment programs), such as: IFB (Institut Français de Bioinformatique), France Génomique, Labex NUMEV or IBC (Institut de Biologie Computationnelle).

Member of IFB
ATGC is a platform member ofInstitut Français de Bioinformatique (IFB) a federation that offers bioinformatics services, organizes training and participates in methodological innovation in this bioinformatics research. It cover all areas of bioinformatics and all thematic areas of fundamental biology and its applications.
Member of France Genomique
ATGC platform is member of the national infrastructure France Génomique that brings together and mutualises the resources of the most efficient French genomics and bioinformatics platforms. It offers the public and private scientific community the highest level of expertise and skills, as well as project support.
Collaborate with ISDM
ATGC platform has a scientific collaboration with Institut de Science de la Donnée de Montpellier. This is a mesocentre of Occitanie that offers shared resources and state-of-the-art infrastructure dedicated to high-performance computing (HPC), big data storage and processing, and cloud computing.
